Keeping things simple...

I offer my portraits of children in two beautifully unique styles:

•  Timeless Monochrome – an (almost) black-and-white illustration with a subtle touch of rosy pink in the cheeks.

•  Thoughtfully Coloured – a full-colour illustration where every hue is carefully chosen and softly applied.

Extra special prints

I work in pencil for the outline sketch and add colour digitally. And all my potraits of childen are printed as high-quality Giclée prints.

Giclée printing is a professional process that produces museum-quality, archival prints designed to last a lifetime. The paper is made from cotton (unlike regular card-stock made from wood pulp), and both the paper and inks are acid-free, meaning they won’t fade or yellow over time. The result is a portrait with a beautiful organic texture, a soft fibrous finish, and a timeless charm.

These prints are perfect as heirlooms, preserving treasured moments for years to come. And because each portrait is a print, you can order multiple copies—a thoughtful way to share a keepsake with loved ones while keeping one for yourself.

Easy to frame

To make framing effortless, I leave a wide border around each illustration. This built-in space gives the artwork room to breathe and allows for me to add a title if you wish—perhaps a name, a meaningful phrase, or a date connected to the scene.

For those planning to mount their portrait, I recommend using an acid-free mount to protect and preserve the integrity of the print for years to come.
