What personal data we collect and why we collect it

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media

If media is requested, it will be done so through an email address. Namely photographs. These will be kept on file indefinitely unless we are expressly advised of a time frame. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

Who we share your data with

We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you; for example WooCommerce and Royal Mail. We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. We use MailerLite to manage our email marketing subscriber list and to send emails to our subscribers. MailerLite is a third-party provider, which may process your data using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our newsletter. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter by clicking on the unsubscribe link provided at the end of each newsletter.

The site uses Akismet anti-spam service. They will collect the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).

 
How long we retain your data

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in our Privacy Policy. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

 
What rights you have over your data
